1977 Bandit Trans Am Restoration
Here is the restoration of a loaded 1977 Y82 Bandit trans Am:
Paint job starts with stripping off 28 years of paint down to bare metal. This shows exactly what you have to work with, and exposes any old bodywork.
Next Car is primed in black epoxy. Car is now ready for bodywork to begin.
front clip removed, all repair work finished on rear body section. in primer, ready for paint.
Rear body and door jambs painted and ready for color sanding, buffing and reassembly.
here we see the many separate parts of a mid 70's TA. Painting a car apart seems like it takes forever.
Its slowly coming back together.....
