1964 Corvette
This is a low option non matching number 1964 Corvette Convertible. To the best of my knowledge this was a 300hp 4 speed riverside red black interior car, now in mid 70's custom attire. Runs and drives well, this is an excellent entry level midyear corvette. Color is 1961 corvette Honduras maroon w/a little added metallic. Period correct American torque thrust wheels, side pipes, nice original appearing interior, and a newer white top.
Interior is in good usable condition, dash is nice, seats are nice, door panels are nice. orig radio in place and works, shifter tight, clutch good, recent front brakes, nice tires.
Excellent solid southern car with a beautiful pit free/rust free frame, drive it as is, replace headlights and bumpers down the road when car gets painted. Car shows no evidence of flares, paint is older, looks good from 10 feet or so away, has chips, nicks, scratches, ect. I have felt behind the front end and the front end still retains headlight mounting plates, should be easy to convert back to the rotating headlight assembly. headlight rotate switch is also still present under the dash.
Engine is a 63 dated 327 w/double hump heads. this engine is done up like a 350hp-365hp engine w/aluminum corvette script covers, aluminum intake, small holley carb and 2.5 inch ram horn exhaust manifolds. Engine starts and runs well, no smoke, good oil pressure, and runs cool. Trans is a Muncie M20, rear is a 3.08 posi.
original trim and vin tags still in place, car is an early 64, original color was riverside red w/black vinyl interior. one bumper and headlight bucket go with the car, as well as a few other parts I have for it. This is a nice running and driving corvette, perfect for a winter or grand sport style project. Solid buildable driving roadster, with great potential.
